Assistant Rector

The Rev. Jimmy Abbott has been the Assistant Rector of St. Alban's since July 2010.

Jimmy earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Texas at Austin. While attending UT, Jimmy discerned a call to ordained  ministry. Immediately after graduation, Jimmy enrolled in the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia and earned his Master of Divinity in May 2010. While in seminary, he served as Seminarian at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Alexandria, Virginia.

Jimmy and his wife, Maggie, enjoy reading and music.  He also loves to play golf, read, and write.  You can follow his writing on his blog, "Blogitations on the Holy Life."
