Join us this year as we remember the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in these festive and powerful events and services.

Children are welcome at all events and services. Nursery (ages 0-4) and Children's Chapel (ages 4-9) are offered where indicated.

Lessons & Carols - December 16

Carillon Prelude at 5:30 p.m.

A Service of Nine Lessons & Carols at 6:00 p.m.

This beautiful service is a treasure of Anglican worship, originating at King's College, Cambridge, in the 1920s. The service includes Christmas scripture passages read by clergy, church members, and distinguished guests. After each reading, the choir sings beloved Christmas carols.

Come early for a Carillon prelude at 5:30 PM, featuring music of the season played on our historic manual 36-bell carillon

This event is free and open to the public. Nursery is available for ages 0-4. 

Please join us after the Lessons & Carols service for a festive Advent reception in the Parish Hall. All welcome.

Sunday Morning - December 23 - The Fourth Sunday of Advent

Holy Eucharist, 7:30 a.m.

Spoken (no music) service of Holy Communion (Rite I). Quiet, contemplative service that includes sermon and scripture readings. Nursery not available.

Holy Eucharist, 9:00 a.m.

Service of Holy Communion (Rite I) with choir and organ. Includes sermon and hymns of the season. Children's Chapel offered for ages 4-9. Nursery available for ages 0-4.

Holy Eucharist, 11:15 a.m.

Service of Holy Communion (Rite I) with choir and organ. Includes sermon and hymns of the season. Children's Chapel offered for ages 4-9. Nursery available for ages 0-4.

Christmas Eve Services - December 24

Holy Eucharist, 3:00 p.m.

A family-friendly service with carols, scripture readings and Christmas Creche, a homily, and Holy Communion. (Note: this service will not feature a Christmas pageant.)

Nursery provided for ages 0-4. 

Festive Choral Eucharist, 8:30 p.m.

Traditional Christmas Eve candlelight service with sermon, Holy Communion, organ, carols, and full choir.

Nursery provided for ages 0-4.

Traditional Christmas Concert, 10:30 p.m.

A beautiful concert featuring music for both organ and choir. One of the highlights of the church year at St. Alban's.

Festive Choral Eucharist, 11:00 p.m.

Traditional Christmas Eve "Midnight Mass" candlelight service with sermon, Holy Communion, organ, carols and full choir.

Nursery not available. 

Christmas Day Service - December 25

Holy Communion (Rite II), 10:00 a.m.

Traditional Christmas service with sermon, congregationally-sung carols, and organ. 

Nursery and Children's Chapel will not be offered. 

First Sunday After Christmas - December 30

Holy Eucharist (Rite I), 7:30 a.m.

A spoken service with prayers, sermon, and readings for the Christmas season. Does not offer nursery care or Children's Chapel. 

Holy Eucharist (Rite II), 9:00 a.m.

Service of Holy Communion with organ, congregational carols, sermon, and readings for the Christmas season.

Children ages 4-9 are invited to Children's Chapel during the sermon.

Nursery is available for ages 0-4. 

Holy Eucharist (Rite II), 11:15 a.m.

Service of Holy Communion with organ, congregational carols, sermon, and readings for the Christmas season.

Children ages 4-9 are invited to Children's Chapel during the sermon.

The Feast of the Epiphany - Sunday, January 6

Epiphany means "revealing" and commemorates the arrival of the Magi, or "wise men," to worship the Christ child. 

Holy Eucharist (Rite I), 7:30 a.m.

A spoken service with prayers, sermon, and readings for Epiphany. Does not offer nursery care or Children's Chapel. 

Holy Eucharist (Rite II), 9:00 a.m.

Service of Holy Communion with organ, hymns, sermon, and readings for Epiphany.

Children ages 4-9 are invited to Children's Chapel during the sermon.

Nursery is available for ages 0-4. 

Holy Baptism with Holy Eucharist (Rite II), 11:15 a.m.

Service of Holy Communion with organ, hymns, sermon, and readings for Epiphany.

Children ages 4-9 are invited to Children's Chapel during the sermon.

Nursery is available for ages 0-4. 

Please note that Sunday School classes will not meet on Sunday, December 23, or Sunday, December 30. Sunday School for all ages resumes on Sunday, January 6, on the Feast of the Epiphany.
