Rector

The Rev. Jeff W. Fisher has been the Rector of St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Waco, Texas, since 2006.

Jeff was formerly the Associate Rector at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Cypress, Texas (Northwest Houston) from 2004 to 2006.

Earning his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, he worked for Arthur Andersen in Houston, then for Hand Benefits & Trust, an employee benefit consulting firm in Houston, where he was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Answering a call from God and from God's Church, Jeff obtained his Master in Divinity from the Virginia Thelogical Seminary in Alexandria, Virgina. While in seminary, he served as Seminarian at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Jeff and his wife have two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, an occasional game of golf and watching Longhorn football. In ministry, his passions are preaching, teaching and helping lay people match their passions and gifts to their ministry.
