On Sunday, December 17, at 5:30 pm, the St. Alban’s Choir & Choristers will present the much-loved Christmas service of Nine Lessons and Carols. Nine short bible readings which tell the story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus, will be interspersed with carols and hymns sung by the choir and congregation.
Choral works by Kerensa Briggs, Andrew Carter, George Frideric Handel, Cecilia McDowall, Matthew Owens, Elizabeth Poston, John Rutter, Carl Rütti, and David Willcocks.
A reception will follow the service. Nursery care available.
