Children’s Ministry Assistant (Part-Time)

Overview

  • The St. Alban’s Children’s Ministry Assistant serves part-time and reports to the Director of Children’s Ministry.
  • The Children’s Ministry Assistant supports the spiritual formation of children (nursery through 5th grade) by helping to implement and nurture programs such as Sunday School,
  • Children’s Chapel, special events, and seasonal offerings. This is a part-time position that works closely with the Director to ensure a welcoming, Christ-centered, and well-functioning environment for children and their families.
  • This is a non-exempt position of approximately 10 hours/week.
  • The Children’s Ministry Assistant works primarily on Sunday mornings, with flexible planning hours during the week. 
  • Hiring for this position is contingent on satisfactory completion of a background check and certification in the Diocese of Texas’s Safe Church Program.

Sexton

Overview

  • This is a non-exempt position of 30 hours/week.
  • Benefits (Medical, Dental, Short and Long-Term Disability, Retirement) provided per Diocese of Texas Policy
  • Working hours will be arranged with the Facilities Manager to accommodate responsibilities without the need to exceed 30 hours per week on any regular basis. Working outside of normal business hours is sometimes necessary in this role. The Sexton regularly works on Sunday mornings.
  • Hiring for this position is contingent on satisfactory completion of a background check and certification in the Diocese of Texas’s Safe Church Program.
