Nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
The vestry consists of 12 laypeople elected by the congregation to serve a three-year term. Each year, four vestry members complete their three-year term, and four new members are elected. To see a list of current vestry members, go here. The members whose terms are expiring are Ashley Allison, Bronwyn Case, David Tekell, and Cindy Keen.
Vestry nominees must be confirmed communicants in good standing (confirmed or received in the Episcopal Church, involved in the church’s ministry, regularly attend worship, and make a pledge to support the church financially) and must support St. Alban’s mission and values.
All vestry members must be certified in Safeguarding God’s People. If not already certified, trainings are regularly offered throughout the Diocese, via Zoom, as well as in person.
Vestry members must subscribe to the following declaration:
“I am persuaded that the Holy Scriptures contain all doctrine required as necessary for eternal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and I acceded to the Doctrine, Discipline, and Worship of the Protestant Episcopal Church.”
Everyone who is nominated and wants to go forward must attend a vestry discernment meeting on one of these dates:
• Sunday, Nov. 23, at 4:00 PM, Parish Library (lunch provided)
• Sunday, Nov. 30, at 10:15 AM, Parish Library
• Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 12:00 PM, at Parish Library (lunch provided)
